Polyaspartic cures in hours instead of days, is UV-stable (epoxy yellows in sunlight), four times more abrasion-resistant, and resists hot-tire pickup. The downside is cost (15–25% premium), but install speed and longevity make up for it inside the first 5 years.
What about freeze-thaw cycles?+
Polyaspartic stays flexible at low temperatures and tolerates freeze-thaw cycles much better than rigid epoxy. We've installed coatings in Park City and Snowbird that have held up through 8+ winters with no separation or cracking.
