Most insurance policies cover sudden water and fire damage from covered perils. We bill your carrier directly using industry-standard Xactimate pricing, the same software your adjuster uses. You typically pay only your deductible. We don’t require any upfront payment from you to start mitigation.
What happens in the first 24 hours?+
Hour 1: Arrival, safety check, photographs, initial damage scope. Hour 2–4: Water extraction or fire-cleaning begins, equipment placed (air movers, dehumidifiers). Hour 4–24: Continuous monitoring, additional equipment as needed, written scope to your adjuster. Day 2 onward: Daily moisture readings logged, drying continues until verified.
What if the damage came from something not covered?+
We tell you upfront before starting work that something looks like a coverage gap (slow leaks, long-term moisture, certain flood scenarios). You can choose to proceed at your own cost or stop. We provide a written estimate and you decide — no work without your written go-ahead.
Do you do reconstruction too, or just mitigation?+
We handle full mitigation in-house. Reconstruction (drywall replacement, flooring, paint, cabinetry) is handled by our long-time GC partners we’ve worked with for 8+ years.
