Will it damage my stairs or banister?+
No — lifts mount to the treads, not the wall, and use small bolts that fill in cleanly when the lift is removed. Your handrail and banister stay exactly where they are.
What about insurance — does Medicare cover it?+
Standard Medicare and most private insurance do not cover stair lifts. Some long-term care policies and VA benefits do. We help you check and file. Affordable financing is available regardless.
