The Work
What we do.

— 01 · Tree
Tree Pruning & Crown Care
ISA-standard pruning that respects the tree’s natural form and long-term health. Crown thinning, deadwooding, structural pruning, and clearance pruning around homes and power lines. We don’t top trees — ever — and we’ll explain why if you’ve been told otherwise.

— 02 · Tree
Tree Removal & Stump Grinding
Hazard tree assessment, controlled removal in tight historic-district yards, and full stump grinding to 8–12 inches below grade. Limb-by-limb crane work or rigging when terrain demands it. Fully insured for your peace of mind and your insurance carrier’s satisfaction.

— 03 · Storm
Storm Response & Hazard Assessment
24/7 emergency response after storms — split limbs over structures, leaning trees, and uprooted hazards. Same-day site visits during named storm events. Written hazard assessments for insurance documentation and HOA review.

— 04 · Plant
Plant Health Care & Insect Treatment
Soil decompaction, deep-root fertilization, and pest/disease diagnostics for live oaks, magnolias, palms, and crepe myrtles. Tip-blight, leaf spot, oak wilt, and ambrosia beetle treatment by an ISA Plant Health Care-certified specialist on staff.
Every job has an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist as lead. We carry the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) for hazard work. Recommendations come from credentialed expertise, not opinions from a sales rep.

What sets us apart
Why historic-district homeowners and HOAs trust us.
01
ISA-Certified Arborists On Every Job
Every job has an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist as lead. We carry the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) for hazard work. Recommendations come from credentialed expertise, not opinions from a sales rep.
02
We Won’t Top Your Tree
Topping is the fastest way to kill a healthy tree. We don’t do it, and we’ll respectfully say no if you ask. Proper crown reduction, structural pruning, and natural-form maintenance get you the result you want without long-term damage.
03
Lowcountry-Native Expertise
Live oaks, Spanish moss, palmettos, magnolias, crepe myrtles, oak gall, ambrosia beetle, root rot in saturated soils. We’ve worked these species in this climate for 24 years. Generic tree services trained in the Midwest don’t read these trees the same way.
Frequently asked.
How much does tree work cost?+
Pruning a mature live oak: $850–$2,400 depending on size, access, and crown work needed. Removal of a 30–50ft tree: $1,800–$5,500. Removal of a large hazard live oak with crane work: $4,500–$12,000+. Stump grinding $4–$8 per inch of stump diameter. Free written estimate after on-site visit.
Are you insured?+
$2M general liability and full workers’ compensation across all crew members. Certificate of Insurance issued to your property manager, HOA, or insurance carrier on request — typically within 24 hours of asking. We don’t leave the office without it.
Can you save my tree, or does it need to come down?+
We do a full hazard assessment before recommending removal. Many trees that other companies have written off can be saved with proper pruning, soil care, and pest treatment. Sometimes the honest answer is removal — and we’ll tell you that too. ISA assessment results in writing.
What about historic-district restrictions?+
We routinely work in the Historic District, Ardsley Park, Habersham, and the Landmark District. We pull tree-removal permits when required, work with the city arborist directly, and follow tree-protection-zone protocols on construction projects. We know which species are protected and what triggers permit review.
How fast can you respond to a storm?+
Within 24 hours for active hazards (limb on a structure, leaning tree, blocking driveway access). Within 4 hours for life-safety emergencies (tree on a home, on a vehicle, blocking utilities). 24/7 emergency line during named storms.
