How much do custom window treatments cost?+
Mid-range cellular shades start around $280/window installed; designer roller shades $320–$650; plantation shutters $35–$60/sq ft; custom drapery panels $400–$1,200/pair plus rod and labor. Most whole-home projects run $4,500–$15,000 — we provide a free written quote after the in-home measure.
How long does an order take?+
Hunter Douglas shades and shutters: 3–5 weeks from order to install. Custom drapery: 4–6 weeks. Motorized PowerView: same as standard, plus a 30-minute programming session at install. Rush orders available on most product lines.
Can I retrofit motorization onto existing shades?+
Most Hunter Douglas shades made within the last 8 years can be retrofitted with PowerView motorization — we’ll inspect at the consult and tell you straight. Older or non-HD shades, the cleanest path is replacing the operating system entirely.
Do you do drapery installation only?+
Yes. If you have your own drapery panels (or are buying through a designer) we offer install-only service: hardware mounting, drapery dressing, and final styling. Flat-rate per window.
